Trouble in the Lab Photoshoot
St John New Zealand required photography for their online first aid refresher course, to illustrate a scenario where there was an accident in the laboratory. Specifically, the images needed to demonstrate a set of steps that occurred in the scenario.
Step 1: A teacher showing his students a technique for mixing chemicals
Step 2: The student mixes the incorrect chemicals, and injures his eye
Step 3: A fellow student enters the scene to help
Step 4: The fellow student goes to the eyewash station, but the eyewash bottle is unfortunately missing
Step 5: A water bottle is a great alternative to an eyewash bottle
Step 6: A fellow student comforts the injured student while calling emergency services
The shoot took less than one hour. Thanks to the students involved.
